Wichita Falls...

... As do trees, dreams, sidewalls and everything else, pardon the pun... The beach house, abandoned, is now for sale. High growth in the area, economic and otherwise. Time to hit the road yet again. It is amazing what the oil boom has done to those towns in the northern part of Rio de Janeiro state. Absolutely mind-boggling. Brand new sidewalks, everything paved, jazz festivals with Stanley Jordan and some of his ilk, neither-here-nor-there-kind-of-thing... It is all very surreal. The local waste management department is equiped with amazing trucks and cars, everything painted in subdued hues, pastel shades to evoke the beach ambiance, I guess, but you can feel that there is money oozing from the pores... Long Live Fossil Fuels!
